Spirit Guided EFT

Emotional Freedom Techniques, or EFT, is a holistic healing system using gentle tapping with two or three fingers on the face and body. The tapping points are endpoints of meridians, or energy circuits, identified in ancient Chinese medicine and used in acupuncture. EFT or tapping is rather like acupuncture without the needles. Tapping on these meridian points can help to unblock energy disruptions in the body which can lead to stress reduction, pain relief, emotional release, the lessening of cravings, improved energy, and a deeper peace of mind. While EFT can be used as a self- help tool, it is often useful to start tapping with an EFT practitioner as you pinpoint issues to tap on and learn how to set up a tapping session.

EFT was developed in 1995 by Gary Craig , a Stanford trained engineer. Gary Craig’s discovery statement, which underpins EFT and how it works, is, “The cause of all negative emotions is a disruption in the body’s energy system.”  Using EFT we work to release our emotional response to events, not necessarily specific memories. This way of addressing the disruption in our energy system allows us to work without bringing up and reliving traumatic memories. Tapping on the negative emotion allows the emotion to be released and the blocked energy to be cleared.

I was introduced to EFT in 2007 in Bangalore, India with EFT practitioner Jasmine Bharathan from Mumbai. I began to use EFT daily, even when I was running behind schedule and was certain to be late. Whenever I tapped, life calmed, my perspective shifted, and, for those times that I seemed to be running behind, I actually arrived on time. Of course, EFT cannot change time or magically make traffic disappear when we need to get somewhere, but it can alleviate our stress response to these events as well as allow us to release emotions around other events, past and present, in our lives. While in India I took another two-day workshop with Jasmine.

In October of 2014, I started training to become an EFT practitioner with the Association for the Advancement of Meridian Energy Techniques, or AAMET. My trainer in this process was Ingrid Dinter in Concord, NH.

I am available to coach you through the process of EFT, guiding you as we discover and tap through the issues and events that may have caused energy disruptions in your body. Please see ______ to choose the option that is best for you.

I would love to share this amazing process with you.
